COVID-19 Update – April 11th 2020
With the COVID-19 Pandemic wreaking havoc around the globe the Australian Government has put in place Stage 3 Level restrictions to stop the spread of the virus and save lives. This includes social distancing, improved sanitation and banned mass gatherings. The Australian Government has indicated these restrictions could be in place for at least 6 months and further restrictions could be introduced. From a retail perspective, most retail stores have shuttered unless they have an eCommerce platform to conduct trade or can home deliver their products.
At SeaSucker Down Under we have made several changes to the business to ensure we comply with all federal and state laws pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, our online store will remain open at all times and orders placed before 3pm will be shipped the same business day. Local orders are shipped via Star Track and international orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL.
Effective immediately our showroom will be closed until further notice. Local customer pickups will be by appointment only. If “Free Local Pickup” is selected when placing your order we will contact you to arrange a suitable time in order to comply with social distancing laws. We also offer “Contactless” pickup option.
