Mini Bomber Roof Mount – Porsche 911
This is a great example of combining the old with the new. As this customer carries a mix of road and mountain bikes he uses an adapter to convert the Quick-Release Fork Mount into a Through-Axle Fork Mount.
Mini Bomber Roof Mount with Flight Decks – Porsche GT3
This is a great example of the versatility of the SeaSucker Mini Bomber. It transforms the Porsche GT3 into a practical sports car. The inclusion of the Flight Decks (front wheel carriers) frees up valuable space in the car. You can install up to 3 fork mounts on the Mini Bomer providing great flexibility to when transporting bikes with quick-release and through-axle front wheels.
Mini Bomber Window Mount – Ford Mustang
This is another great example of the versatility of the Mini Bomber Bike Rack. It will attach to steel, aluminium, glass, fibreglass and carbon fibre. Out customer chose the front windscreen, not sure if the mounting location may interfere with the wipers. To be honest this may be a mute point as most cyclists don’t ride in wet weather.
Mini Bomber Full Glass Roof Mount – Porsche 911
With so may car manufacturers offering a full glass roof or panoramic roof as an option the number of customers contacting us that have a car with a glass roof has risen sharply. Luckily all SeaSucker Bike Racks work on glass just as well as on painted panels. Our preference in terms of mounting location is to secure the bike rack main board onto the fixed portion of the glass window. In other words, we prefer to use the portion of the glass roof that does not tilt or slide. This is for 2 reasons:
- It allows you to open the glass roof with the bikes mounted
- It doesn’t put any pressure on the glass roof mechanism.
Most OEM glass roofs have high-quality mechanisms to operate the roof. We take the view if we can avoid using this section of the glass roof then we will. In saying this we have a lot of customers that have mounted the main board on the opening portion.
